The Regional Cancer Advisory Group (RCAG) is SCAN’s executive council.  It is SCAN’s highest-level decision-making forum and is the key steering group for the South East of Scotland Cancer Network (SCAN). The RCAG provides a regional governance role and is responsible for agreeing and overseeing delivery of the SCAN Work Plan and any emerging projects.  It ensures an equitable approach is taken to the development and provision of cancer services across the South East of Scotland. The Chief Executives of the four SCAN health boards are members of the RCAG and board Directors of Planning also attend RCAG meetings. The RCAG is a sub-group of the East Region Programme Board.
